About us

Bread and Pastry Paradise is an artisanal bakery based in Kathmandu (formerly Fred’s Bakery). We offer French baguettes, different types of breads, butter croissants, chocolate breads, almond croissants, breads with raisins, cakes, frangipanes, apple tart, lemon tart, jams, cookies and many other things.

All our products are quality products, homemade and made by a team of enthusiasts who have been trained by a French baker.

For our breads, we use our own natural leaven, which ferment at least 12 hours so that our breads are as tasty as possible.

Our ethics

We only use fresh products, without addition of coloring, without improvers, without preservatives and without too much sugar.

All our products are made with products that we find in Nepal.

We respect environment and use as less plastics as we can. Most of our deliveries are made by electric scooter.

Our unsold products are distributed to people in need or to children in care at the hospital. They are not thrown away.

Delivery

You can order our products via our website. We will deliver them free of charge 7 days a week.

Deliveries are made during our opening hours, from 7am to 7pm.

For professionals (restaurant, hotel, embassies, …), it is possible to make 2 deliveries in the day so that you always have fresh products.

Blessed place... Brioches, croissants, cakes, bread (baguette, wholemeal bread) are made with love. Fred and the nepalese girls cook slowly, following the traditional process of the bread. With music, laughs, joy and peace. Charmy place, to be alone, to be with friends, to read, to enjoy nutritive and delicious food.
